Pat Winn combines a long history of successful trial work with executive experience as the chief human resources officer for three highly successful multi-national companies. Mr. Winn has led negotiations for management in the public and private sectors, and is experienced in both mediation and arbitration, serving as a presiding arbitrator in Court-annexed arbitration cases. While working with Hutchison Group Mr. Winn has played a key role in helping to negotiate ground breaking labor agreements at Spirit AeroSystems and Allison Transmission. In addition, Pat is a skilled facilitator and has been extremely effective in conducting labor relations assessments in both union and non-union operations.
Prior to serving as a Chief Human Resource Executive and working with the Hutchison Group, Mr. Winn enjoyed a distinguished career as an attorney, serving as a prosecutor for the state of Illinois. He has tried cases or handled alternative dispute resolution matters in 17 different states. Pat has investigated ethics complaints, developed or administered ethics / compliance programs, and trained others on compliance with laws governing employment discrimination, affirmative action, leadership development, and change management. In September 2011, Pat was named Director of Catholic Charities and Social Services for Northern Illinois. He will continue as an advisor to Hutchison Group.
Mr. Winn received his law degree from the University of Iowa and his undergraduate degree from Loras College. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Center for Advanced Studies in Business.
